In response to the united Nations General Assembly on October 20th, 2010, by Resolution No. A/RES/65/5, the first week of February is proclaimed as World Interfaith Harmony Week.
On February 7th, 2013, Ven. Chueh Chuan, BLIA UN NGO Office Director, together with the ambassadors to the UN from Indonesia and Ethiopia, accepted the invitation to the ECOSOC Conference Room for an interfaith meeting. There were representatives from Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and traditional African faiths, coming together to conduct a seminar on how different religions can contribute towards partnership within ethnicity.
